Summer Institute 2022

Summer Institute is designed as a training opportunity for College Admission Representatives and High School Counselors with less than one year of experience, with sessions applicable for each group.  Topics include introduction to the profession, travel tips, cultural competency, connecting students with opportunities, strategies for effective high school / college visits and college fairs, ethical issues within education, the campus visit and student interviews, application processes, Financial Aid 101, professional networking, getting involved with INACAC and NACAC, writing essays, and more.  Along with the support you will receive from your colleagues in the office, you will create an additional network of peers to support your development as a professional.

Your registration includes:
*  Two days of valuable training
*  All meals - Dinner on Monday night + Breakfast and Lunch on Tuesday
*  Housing on campus

*  Professional Networking Opportunities

Registration fees are different for INACAC Members and Non-Members.  If your school is an INACAC member, then you are a member.  If you are unsure which registration level to choose, feel free to email Stacie, INACAC Executive Assistant at iacacexecassistant@gmail.com.  Also, please let Stacie know if you need special accomodations.
