The INACAC Inclusion, Access, and Success (IAS) Committee is pleased to announce the Indiana Cultural Opportunity Network (ICON) program! The program is designed to educate Admissions & School Counseling professionals in areas of student equity, access, and success. 

ICON gives you tools to challenge and strengthen your knowledge of student needs and the barriers to higher education within Indiana and beyond. Participants should expect to attend monthly meetings, the IAS sponsored Transitions Conference, and the INACAC Annual Conference.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Participants will be able to identify barriers faced by underrepresented student populations in Indiana regarding higher education and provide resources to better support them in their post-secondary pursuits.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Participation in all in person and virtual meetings

• Participation in the Indiana Student Advocates and INACAC Conference.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

• The cost of participation is $200 for an eight-month cohort. Membership to INACAC is mandatory.

• 1+ year of admissions or school counseling experience and either at the secondary or higher education level.
